Chery C5 — Owner’s Guide
The C5 is a recent addition to Chery Australia’s range — a 1.5 turbo petrol with a dual-clutch gearbox. Our saved copy of Chery’s capped-price page from 15 September 2026 prints a table for the C5 Hybrid and none for the petrol C5; this guide does not cover the Hybrid. Chery’s capped-price table for the petrol C5, as we read it on 20 August 2026, set services every 15,000 km or 12 months under the brand’s 7-year capped program; by 15 September 2026 Chery had removed that table from its page, and our schedule page dates the prices and says what that means for your budget. This page is deliberately short: detailed technical specifications await official documentation — and per our editorial policy, we publish what’s verified rather than fill space.
Configuration (1.5T DCT, MY25/26) as printed on Chery Australia’s official Capped Price Service page when we read it on 20 August 2026; the C5 1.5T DCT table is absent from our saved copy of that page of 15 September 2026. Fuel type: the Australian Government’s Green Vehicle Guide (our extraction of 20 August 2026). C5 Hybrid: the same Capped Price Service page, our saved copy of 15 September 2026.
Warranty — Australia
7 years / unlimited km for a new vehicle. If a vehicle sold through an authorised Chery Dealer is used primarily as a taxi, for ride sharing, for hire or rental, as a driving-school vehicle or for delivery/courier work, the limit is 7 years / 150,000 km, whichever occurs first. Roadside assistance and capped-price servicing are separate programs.
