⚠ Brake recall (Jun 2026): 5,556 Tiggo 8 PRO 2.0 (2023–2026) are recalled in Australia for a brake pipe that can chafe and leak — check your VIN now.

The Tiggo 8 is Chery’s seven-seat flagship SUV, and its badge history is busier than most: Tiggo 8, 8 Pro, 8 Pro Max and now 8 Super Hybrid, with the engine changing along the way — a 1.6 turbo in the early Pro, a 2.0 turbo in the Pro Max and current Australian cars, and a plug-in Super Hybrid from MY26. Parts, fluids and schedules follow the engine, not the badge — identify yours first.

Sources: Chery Australia official pages (verified 20 August 2026); Chery international records. The generation years in the table above are not printed in any document we hold, and our own model list gives different years for two of them (Tiggo 8 Pro 2020–2024; Pro Max 2022–present); we have not verified either set. The 1.6T and 2.0T are different engines with different service parts — quoting “Tiggo 8” at a parts counter is not enough.

Correction note: The source line now says that the generation years in the table are not in any document we hold, and gives the different years our own model list records.

Warranty — Australia

7 years / unlimited km for a new vehicle. If a vehicle sold through an authorised Chery Dealer is used primarily as a taxi, for ride sharing, for hire or rental, as a driving-school vehicle or for delivery/courier work, the limit is 7 years / 150,000 km, whichever occurs first. Roadside assistance and capped-price servicing are separate programs.
